Hi! I’m so glad that you stopped by my blog. As of September, 2013, this is a new adventure for me. You see, I have been a hobby demonstrator for 10 years, since August of 2003. In August of 2013, I decided that I am going to turn my hobby into a business. Therefore, as part of my commitment to myself and you, my customers and/or blog followers, I would like to share with you my creativity in hopes of inspiring you to bless others through cards, gifts, or scrapbooks.
After much deliberation on my blog’s name, there is really so much to think about (like naming a new pet, or even a child believe it or not), I decided on Kelly’s Creative Corner. This seemed to describe me the best. You see, when I was growing up my parents were determined to raise my two sisters and I to have morals and respect for others. And when any of us did something wrong or disrespectful, we were told to stand in the corner. Believe me, if you’ve never had to do that, it was like “doing time”. The common term for that now-a-days is “time-out”. Back in the 1970’s, when I was growing up, we had to stand in the corner. Would you believe that I spent more time in the corner than either of my sisters? I suppose it was worth it; I turned out to be pretty good if I do say so myself 😉
Well, all that time in the corner growing up has made me quite comfortable in my corner as an adult. However, this is a corner that I LOVE to go to and can’t seem to spend enough time in. It’s a little corner in a part of my basement; it’s my stamping corner. As they say on MTV Cribs: “That’s where all the magic happens”. It’s my desire to share with you my best creations, whether they be hand-stamped cards & gifts or digital scrapbook pages and calendars. Not only do I love Stampin’ Up!’s stamps, paper, inks and accessories, I also love Stampin’ Up!’s digital software called “My Digital Studio”. I use that to make bulk cards & invitations, calendars for the whole family at Christmas time, and our own family scrapbooks.
I hope that you will continue on this journey with me. In return, I promise to keep you updated on all of the latest specials & products while at the same time inspiring you to create cards, gifts, scrapbooks, etc. to bless others in your life.
Blessings today and every day!
P.S. I’d love to hear a little bit about you. Please leave me a comment and tell me about yourself and your interests with Stampin’ Up!’s products.
